PRAYER

Prayer must be at the center of every service leading up to the tent revival. This ensures the event is more than just a gathering—it becomes a movement of God. Every service should include:

  • A short promotional video or highlight clip of past tent revivals to keep the event on the congregation’s minds.
  • A dedicated moment of prayer asking God to bring the greatest revival the region has ever seen.
  • Visible reminders, such as leaders wearing Jesus Tent Revival shirts, to maintain focus and anticipation.

By consistently bringing revival prayer into regular services, faith and expectation will grow, preparing hearts for a mighty move of God.

Breakthrough is birthed from a culture of personal prayer. To keep this at the forefront, prayer handouts should be distributed to the church. These could be:

  • Trifold handouts or business card-sized reminders with four key prayer points, such as:
    • Breakthrough and momentum
    • Miracles and anointing
    • Favorable weather
    • Effective outreach
  • Encouragement for members to keep these cards in their wallets, purses, or workspaces, ensuring they are reminded to pray throughout their daily lives.
  • A weekly reminder in Wednesday night services to grab a prayer card and commit to consistent intercession.

By embedding prayer into everyday routines—at work, school, and home—revival will extend far beyond the tent and into the very fabric of the community.

Investing in revival means investing in dedicated prayer meetings leading up to the event. To build spiritual momentum:

  • Begin weekly prayer gatherings at least a month in advance, ideally on Friday nights or another consistent time.
  • Focus on both personal spiritual renewal and intercession for the city, stirring hearts for a deeper encounter with God.
  • As the event nears, transition prayer meetings to the tent site, praying over the land where lives will be changed.

There is power in unified, fervent prayer. By covering the revival in intercession before it begins, we prepare an atmosphere where God’s presence can move in miraculous ways.

Prayer, Fasting, and Outreach Calendar

To ensure strategic and focused preparation, a prayer, fasting, and outreach calendar can be passed out to the church every midweek. This tool will help align efforts leading up to the revival, keeping prayer, evangelism, and spiritual preparation at the forefront. Access the editable calendar: Canva Link.
